I wish I had been the Attorney of Record

Eighty years ago tomorrow (May 21, 1928), Walt Disney filed an application for the trademark MICKEY MOUSE with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

I'm sure he had no idea what he was starting. Or maybe he did. Whatever people may say about Walt, he was the true meaning of a visionary.

and one of my personal heroes.

Hi - I was referred here by your husband's blog and just wanted to wish you well with the baby this week while he travels.

On the note about Walt Disney, that trademark anniversary is very cool. I work at a toy company where our products are predominately Disney. Did you know the international parks have a different Mickey sculpt from the US parks? Yeah it has to do with each country's personal taste and translation of MM's appearance into plush. Bet Walt didn't see that coming!

I was also referred here from your husband's blog. Good luck holding down the fort while he is gone!

You like two things that I like. A lot.

1) Walt Disney
2) Ace of Base

I think we're going to get along just fine.

Welcome to blogland. I surfed in from your hubby's site.

I also surfed in from your husband's blog. Gosh he's a great guy. Handsome. Funny. Sexy. An awesome dad. A great cook. Funny.

You can tell he loves you a lot :}

Thanks all for your well wishes.

Samurai - BPD and I have been fortunate enough to visit almost all of the Disney parks in the world (still working on how to get to Hong Kong), and we love talking about all of the cool differences between the parks. Walking down Main Street at D-land Paris is a bit Twilight Zone-y.

becs - thanks! so far, so good...

stacie - if only we could combine the two loves.

mumma boo - thanks for talking, uh, surfing over.

BPD - yeah, he's pretty rockin' awesome. Keep yer mitts off!

We've got the Disney bug, too. Although we haven't managed to visit parks outside the U.S. yet (my suggestion of Paris Disney for our honeymoon was outvoted).
